A&M Education is offering its Art Journalism 101 short course for the second time from 27 July 2023 to 8 August 2023. It will equip participants with essential tools of art journalism.

Publications
In the fourth edition of CHECK-IN, you can look forward to stories about art and its publics, the evolution of art publications and media companies, transnational practices, the future of residencies, and other developments in the Southeast Asian art ecosystem.
Check-In 2023 is an inclusive anthology of voices from the Southeast Asia art world. Featuring 30 essays across five sections, the publication sheds light on archiving practices, new possibilities in performance art, the evolution of residency models and more. It will be available online and in limited print editions.
Check-In 2022 features first-hand accounts, dialogues, observations and analyses from the region. This year’s contributions explore topics such as the challenges and joys of translation, art therapy in today’s climate and keeping independent art spaces afloat. The print edition is currently available for preorder.

SAW Dialogues 2022, a part of the 10th edition of Singapore Art Week, took place from 15 to 23 January 2022 and featured a series of talks and panels developed in partnership with National Arts Council and in coordination with other co-presenters.
LANDING was A&M’s second annual conference where we talk to art practitioners on how their resilience have grounded the regional art community in a relentlessly challenging time.

Organised in December 2020 and January 2021, RESET is a series of panel discussions that explore individual and collective efforts on key issues and solutions in the art scene.
We ran a series of 5 panel discussions in June 2020 titled PIVOT | The Southeast Asian Art World Beyond COVID-19. Stakeholders were invited to speak about how they have dealt with the myriad curveballs emerging from the pandemic.

In April 2020, we held Fresh Take, our first writing contest, in search of new perspectives on the developing Southeast Asian art scene. Winners were announced in July 2020.
