In the first episode, A&M Editor Nadya speaks with Wang Zineng, Founder, Art Agenda, S.E.A. and newly appointed Head of Modern and Contemporary Art, Asia at Bonhams. In this conversation, they discuss the auction landscape in Southeast Asia, the rapid rise of the regional art market from the mid-2000s, and how houses keep nimble to cater to increasingly eclectic tastes of collectors.

Art & Market Conversations features music composed by Singapore artist Mark Wong. The podcast series is hosted on SoundCloud, which showcases a background artwork image from Malaysian Phuan Thai Meng. You can also find the podcast by searching “artandmarket” on Spotify and iTunes.
